- Annual information session held in the regional centre in addition to the provision of an in-service for emergency medical and nursing staff
- Joint CCC and regional centre outpatient clinics held at regional sites
- Documented support and clinical guidelines for medical management
- Annual joint paediatrics and medical oncology information evening held in Melbourne.

- Key link nurses 5 – 7 day formalised program at the RCH or Monash Children’s
- Introduction to Paediatric oncology nursing study day held in regional centres
- Access to BMT, paediatric palliative care and CCC chemotherapy accreditation courses
- Access to video conference on nursing and allied health educational topics
- Provision of a shared care nursing resource folder
- Procedural pain/managing pain procedures workshops held in regional centres.

- Development of agreed responsibilities for social work and dietetic services
- Development of a social work, procedural pain and nutrition summary central recording mechanism on the electronic medical record
- Annual symposiums held on topics identified as required (i.e. palliative care and bereavement, nutrition).
