PICS Quality

The PICS is committed to providing safe and quality care to all children and adolescents with cancer and their families. The PICS Quality team apply a continuous improvement approach to all projects and support staff to provide safe, high quality care for children and their families.
Activities include:

- Supporting consumer engagement and involvement in PICS activities
|
|
- Conducting an annual patient satisfaction survey for patients and families across the three major PICS sites (RCH, Monash Children’s and Peter Mac)
|
|
- Supporting PICS staff to ensure ongoing evaluation of continuous improvement activities/projects
|
|
- Conducting Department of Health medical record audits
|
|
- Developing an agreed minimum dataset for PICS
|
